Waypoint Outreach Initiative is a grassroots organization based in Ypsilanti, Michigan, helping individuals and families navigate homelessness, recovery, reentry, veterans’ services, and other difficult life transitions.

We meet people where they are by offering practical support, peer connection, essential supplies, and links to trusted community resources throughout Washtenaw County.

Assistance with housing, food, identification, benefits, and local services.

Connecting individuals with legal aid and helping them understand available resources.

🧼 Hygiene Kit Outreach
Providing essential hygiene supplies to individuals experiencing homelessness or hardship.

👩 Women's Reentry Project (Coming Soon)
Supporting women returning from incarceration through resource navigation and peer support.

Meeting people where they are through outreach events, workshops, and partnerships.
